3 days at OXFORD UNI || Balliol College RESIDENTIAL
Yet another residential! And yet another at Oxford! (You'd think I want to apply here instead of Cambridge!). Floreat is a programme for humanities students in my county in association with Balliol College, Oxford. Earlier in the year, we had weekly seminars on a range of humanities subjects. My favourites were the Politics, Gender Studies and History sessions. The end of the programme is marked by a three-day residential at the college where we get to experience a tutorial (small teaching session) on our humanities course and go through our personal statement with an Admissions Tutor. It was really lovely to spend some time in Oxford and get to know what the city is like. I would strongly suggest you look to see which Oxford and Cambridge college is tied to your county (in you're UK based...

REMEMBER: as always these are just MY opinions, so if you are a prospective Oxford student trying to decide what college to apply to, check what college provides your course first, before visiting the individual college websites (and if there are no Covid-restrictions preventing you from doing so, I would highly recommend visiting Oxford on an open day to get a feel for the colleges/city) . ALWAYS email the designated college access officer for any specific college you have questions about (details will be available on the college websites, and don't be afraid to contact them because helping prospective students is literally their job), as they are the most qualified to provide you with accurate and helpful information.

I would strongly suggest you look to see which Oxford and Cambridge college is tied to your county (in you're UK based) and see what things they have to offer.

My previous video was probably one of my favourites and a Q& A with my three sisters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ov4HyJlJXk&t=1s
