Euarestos has broken the Egyptians after bribing 3 governor to join his side he leaves them to clean up the remnant of Greece's rival. Alexander Philadelphos and Taharqa Alexander are Egyptian warriors in command of a greek army, they struggle to earn the trust of the soldiers they command a year ago in 176 they had governed Damascus but after betraying Egypt for the Greeks they were driven out of the city, they quickly retook the city, a year later Euarestos signed an agreement with the Seleucids which handed over the regions of Coele Syria, Phoenicia, Syria and Cilicia to the Seleucids. The Seleucids later signed a treaty with Egypt and bought back Babylonia.
In 175 B.C Alexander Philadelphos and Taharqa Alexander march on the region of Regnum Palmyrae and lay siege to the city of Palmyra for months. The governor sends scouts who manage to get pass the Greeks. While the Palmyrans hold out for aid, the Greeks launch several attempts to take the walls all of which end in failure, on August 10th the Palmryans rejoice as Pharaoh Philioppos Alexander and Neferetiabet Auletese lead a force of 1300 warriors to relieve the 789 Palmyrans, but is the force enough to drive the Geeks out of the region

Coele-Syria
Coele-Syria, Coele Syria, or Coelesyria (Greek: Κοίλη Συρία, Koílē Syría), also rendered as Coelosyria and Celesyria, was a region of Syria in classical antiquity. It probably derived from the Aramaic for all of the region of Syria but more often was applied to the Beqaa Valley between the Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges. The area now forms part of the modern nations of Lebanon, Syria and Israel.
Name
It is widely accepted that the term Coele is a transcription of Aramaic kul, meaning "all, the entire", such that the term originally identified all of Syria. The word "Coele", which literally means "hollow" in Koine Greek, is thought to have come about via a folk etymology referring to the "hollow" Beqaa Valley between Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon mountains. However, the term Coele-Syria was also used in a wider sense to indicate "all Syria" or "all Syria except Phoenicia", by the writers; Pliny, Arrian, Ptolemy and also Diodorus Siculus, who indicated Coele-Syria to at least stretch as far south as Joppa, while Polybius stated that the border between Egypt and Coele-Syria lay between the towns of Rhinocolara and Rhaphia.
