Jodi Arias Court of Appeals Hearing
Will misconduct allegations against a prosecutor sink the murder conviction of Jodi Arias, 39? Defense lawyers are trying to achieve just that in a hearing on Thursday before the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Maricopa County prosecutor Juan Martinez has faced allegations of misconduct in office for a while. Claims include sexual harassment, and revealing a juror’s name to a trial blogger. He was recently reassigned from death penalty to auto theft cases.

Rwanda deportation appeal is dismissed by Court of Appeal
The Court of Appeal has ruled the first deportation flight taking asylum seekers to Rwanda can go ahead tomorrow.
Rights campaigners have argued that the government policy is inhumane and will put migrants at risk.
But officials have said the strategy will deter people from making dangerous Channel crossings from France in flimsy small boats run by smugglers.

First broadcast from Court of Appeal
Lord Chief Justice Lord Thomas welcomes the start of broadcasting from the Court of Appeal, after a ban on filming in court is lifted in a landmark moment for journalism and the justice system.
A near-90-year ban on filming in court has been lifted in what has been described as a "landmark moment for justice and journalism".
Cameras will be able to broadcast for the first time from one of the highest courts in the land, the Court of Appeal.
After years of campaigning by broadcasters ITN, BBC, Press Association and Sky News, cameras have been placed in five courtrooms at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Court Of Appeal Rules No FUL Audit Report In Parliament
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley cannot lay the Firearms User's License Audit in Parliament.
On Wednesday, Justices of Appeal Nolan Bereaux, Peter Rajkumar, and Maria Wilson ruled that the injunction against the Prime Minister remains. However, they deemed it to be too wide and it was varied.
The Prime Minister will not be able to lay the Report in Parliament or a summary of it, except to those who are named in it so they can make representations.
Only when these comments are incorporated into the Report can the Audit Report be shared with Cabinet.
Those named in the report will only receive a copy of those parts of the report which affect them.

The far right activist, 35, has been in prison for two months after being locked up in May for filming defendants involved in a criminal trial at Leeds Crown Court and broadcast the footage on Facebook to 250,000 people. Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, has successfully appealed against his 13-month jail term for contempt of court – but his case will be heard again, judges ruled today. The decision to send him to prison has sparked several protests all over the country and the campaign to get him freed has garnered support abroad, especially in the United States. Fans were crying with joy and cheering when the news spread outside the High Court today where anti-racism campaigners also stood chanting against him.

Archie Battersbee: Court of Appeal to hold urgent hearing
The Court of Appeal will hold an urgent hearing at 11am today following interventions from the government and the UN in the case of Archie Battersbee.
The 12 year old has been in a coma since April, and doctors and multiple High Court judges have said that it's in Archie's best interests for his life support to be removed.

On Wednesday, Justices of Appeal Nolan Bereaux, Peter Rajkumar, and Maria Wilson ruled that the injunction against the Prime Minister remains. However, they deemed it to be too wide and it was varied.
The Prime Minister will not be able to lay the Report in Parliament or a summary of it, except to those who are named in it so they can make representations.
Only when these comments are incorporated into the Report can the Audit Report be shared with Cabinet.
Those named in the report will only receive a copy of those parts of the report which affect them.
